Space For Students

School space issues create challenges for both students and teachers. When there are too many students in one room, it becomes harder for teachers to give individual attention, manage behavior, and provide effective instruction. Students may struggle to focus, feel less engaged, and experience more stress due to noise and distractions. Overcrowding can also limit the use of learning materials and reduce opportunities for hands-on activities or group work. In the long term, crowded classrooms may negatively affect academic achievement and student well-being. Smaller class sizes allow for more personalized learning, stronger relationships, and a healthier classroom environment. We must continue to the champions for our children’s education and with our parents, staff, and municipal partners advocate to the province for new schools and reduced class sizes.
