My Community

We moved to Airdrie in 1994 because it was close to my job, we stayed because of the people. Airdrie has an amazing sense of community and it was one of the first things we noticed when we moved here 27 years ago. Since then Airdronians have shown their sense of community over and over again. The 2013 Floods and the Fort McMurray Fire are only two examples of this. Airdrie is neighbour helping neighbour, supporting each other, where and whenever the need arises. Whether we are hoisting the Zombie Cup during a food bank fundraiser, setting up a light display at Nose Creek Park in -20C temperatures or marching in the Canada Day Parade, I am always amazed by this community. By getting out in the community and getting involved I have seen this proud community rise up time and again. It’s truly an amazing sight to see.

I have had the honour of being on Airdrie City Council for 15 years. I chose to run for School Trustee because I see the amazing potential in this City and would like to help see it reach new heights.
On October 18th I ask for your support, remain engaged, have your voice heard and please VOTE.
